Burner Left Behind

If you're stuck at home during this Burning Man then don't be a burner left behind, come with us for the annual NBLB (No Burner Left Behind). Past events have always been at Madre Grande but for obvious reasons this can be no more so we are moving to a new location in the San Bernadino mountains. Close to Big Bear.

Just so you all know this is a low maintenance event so it's more of a quiet trip purely for camping, relaxing and sociallizing in a quiet, intimate environment. Last year we brought along a little boom box for music which was totally sufficient for all 50 people at Madre Grande and it will be the same again this year.

We'll have a burning of a mini-man on Saturday night and the burning of the notorious Mr. Square on Sunday night. If you don't yet know of Mr. Square join the yahoo group for an introduction.
Also planned is the alternative Marie Pierre/Scott wedding on Friday evening at sunset (formal attire such as bride's maid dresses is suggested). While they are actually getting married on the Playa we will be celebrating in solidarity at NBLB.
The temple will be there. We will burn remembrances and what we are letting go of and creating intentions for the New Year.

There's hiking trails through creeks and forest to go on during the day, and lake Jenks to visit for a little fishing.
Saturday night is the ice cream social and Sunday night will be S'mores.
Low key music by battery operated speakers. No generator--bring lanterns and primitive camping gear.
